The G&M codes are created using a three-dimensional Cartesian coordinate system. The coordinates are used for mapping machine tool paths and actions. For example, absolute coordinates refer to the (0,0,0) point on the plane. This is the starting position for the actual machining. When you're using CNC software, you'll use CAM software to make precise parts. This will translate your CAD file into g-code and control your machine.

After a CAD model has been created, the CNC tools will generate G-codes. The G-codes will indicate where the tool should move and where to stop. Then, the operator will use the G-code to guide the machine. The G&M codes will tell you where to move the machine. The axis will move only when it is under a certain amount of load. As a result, the CNC machine will only run when it is in a position of safety.
